This homeowner replaced a cracked concrete drive with a resin bound surface, carried through to the porch step so the front of the house reads as one finish.
What we did
- Broke out and removed the old concrete drive
- Laid and compacted a permeable Type 3 sub-base with new edgings to retain the surface
- Mixed and trowelled a UV-stable resin bound aggregate at 18mm depth, with the porch step finished in the same blend
- Surface ready to walk on in 24 hours and drive on in 48
